My budget for living in Seoul, South Korea.

Money is a big draw for ESL teachers to come to Korea. The pay can range fromΒ 1.9-2.8 million Won, depending on where you live, what experience you have, certifications, credentials, whether you work at a public school, hagwon, or university, and (in some cases) how stingy your job is. 2016 – Life in Seoul

It’s March! And I’ve been living in Seoul for 6 months now! Plenty has happened to keep me occupied, and my outdated laptop was a huge reason for not posting all that has been going on. But I finally gave up on my Macbook from 2008 and bought a new Acer Chromebook for under $200. I love it so much already and it’s gotten me excited aboutΒ blogging again, so let’s begin with some insight into my life in Korea so far, starting with the most time consuming thing: my job. South Korea: Checking in!

I’m finally here! Seoul, South Korea has been myΒ  home for the past two months, yet it feels like I’ve been here for half a year! I’ve already had several “what did I get myself into moments” along with a few emotional breakdowns, but overall I’ve been enjoying the ride.
